Show / Hide Datasource Explanations Feature

What’s new? 

This feature gives you insights into the extraction process and provides detailed reasons about where the info was taken from or if it was learned through your assistance.
At a glance, icons provide you with an overview of the source and if you’d like to know more, just click into the fields or hover over the symbol next to them to see detailed explanation text boxes appear.

Every user can individually decide whether or not they want to activate this feature. This user-specific setting does not affect the view of others in the same channel or organization.

Where does it apply?

On any document in the header data overview or in the list view for line items. 

Note: Line item ‘Table View’ does not currently support this feature, as it was designed to minimize distractions and give a clear and concise view of only data.

How does it look?

We have refined the traditional “traffic light” color coding and will highlight even more clearly, where your assistance is needed.

Green = we are pretty confident the info is correct

Yellow = we might be a bit unsure and would like you to double check

Red = Information is missing and needs to be manually assisted

On top, small icons appear at the end of the line for emphasis and show you how the information was added to the overview.

For even more details, text boxes appear when clicking into a field. 

Note that certain fields are grouped together in a field blocks about the same topic, e.g. "client", "client contact", "delivery address" etc.
For these field blocks, the explanation will show the overall logic for all fields. For line items individual field explanations can also appear.

Symbol explanation:

→  Here we are missing information, please assist.

→ This information was taken from your master data. 

→ This information was extracted from the document.

→ This information was assisted by a user.

→ This information was learned and suggested.

Examples text boxes: 

Ex. 1 - No data found, assistance needed. (Client fieldgroup)

Ex. 2 - Information taken from document. ( Delivery address fieldgroup)

Note: Grey text boxes appear for optional fields, whereas the obligatory fields follow the color coding pattern.

How do I enable this view?

Per default, this feature is disabled and documents appear the same way that you are used to. If you want to enable it to see icons and further explanations, see instructions below.

How to enable the feature:

1. Go to the Workist Workbench and log in.
2. Once you are in your channel, open any document.
3. While viewing the document, go to the taskbar on top and click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner.

→ a dropdown will appear with “Show explanations”, select to enable:

How to disable the feature:

1. Go to the Workist Workbench and log in.
2. Once you are in your channel, open any document.
3. While viewing the document, go to the taskbar on top and click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner.

→ a dropdown menu will appear with “Hide explanations”, select to disable.
