In this article, we would like to explain the search function in the Workbench. This function is extremely useful for quickly and efficiently obtaining the desired information, such as customer data, article numbers, delivery addresses and much more.
How does the search function work?
You can search for a number, a description or a keyword in the respective field. Workist will then provide you with suggestions based on your entries and the stored master data. You also have the option of searching for header fields linked to master data in the ID field, i.e. you can search for a name in the number field.
Examples:
Are you unsure of a customer number? Then you can enter the customer name in the "Customer number" field and also receive results for matching delivery addresses.
Not sure about the article number? Simply search for the name of the item, a keyword or the item description in the corresponding field.
Results and "Show more results" option
By default, the search shows up to five results. If you would like to see more results from the master data, simply click on "Show more results" to search through your master data.
This function also allows you to obtain comprehensive information about your data. For customer data, for example, this includes the address, contact details or customer number. For articles, you will find the article description, order units, prices and other important information.
Your advantages with this search function:
- Efficient and flexible search: Fast and precise search for specific customer and article information
- Comprehensive information: Access comprehensive information from the master data, including order units, prices, addresses and other relevant details.
- Time saving: Direct search saves you time and increases productivity.
- Ease of use: The intuitive search function allows users of all experience levels to easily access the information they need.
- Optimized workflows: The new feature makes daily use of Workist easier and optimizes workflows by simplifying the search for items.
